Hot water powered by solar energy
Use your excess solar power to heat water.
One of the key benefits of SMARTFOX is its continuous hot water supply. Simply by using self-generated solar power to heat water, you can increase your self-consumption from about 30% to around 80%, thereby saving money.
The smart energy manager automatically controls the electric heating elements in the boiler and/or storage tank to heat water, ensuring it is available at the desired time and temperature. Thanks to the built-in weekly timer, this is possible even in bad weather. For example, the water can be heated to the desired minimum temperature during the cheaper off-peak hours at night.
Load management
Efficient energy management made easy.
Load management is an important component of smart energy management. By actively controlling electrical appliances, energy consumption is optimized.
This harmonizes and evens out a building’s load profile, thereby avoiding peak loads and the need to purchase expensive electricity. This setting is available for all four relay outputs.
Dynamic load management is available free of charge when used in conjunction with the Wallbox, the SMARTFOX Pro Charger.
