The SMARTFOX Pro Charger 2 combines smart charging with cutting-edge technology and user-friendly operation. With a charging capacity of up to 11 kW, charging electric vehicles at home is exceptionally efficient and easy. Automatic switching between single-phase and three-phase operation ensures that available power is used optimally—especially when combined with a solar power system.
With selectable charging modes such as surplus charging (100% solar power), grid charging, and target charging, as well as RFID user authentication³, the charging station offers flexibility and security. The charger is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can be operated either individually or in a network of up to five charging stations—making it ideal for apartment buildings or small commercial facilities. An illuminated display, clearly visible LED status indicators, and a weatherproof housing ensure maximum suitability for everyday use. Available in four high-quality color options—Dark Grey, Silver, Light Brass, and Green Metal—the SMARTFOX Pro Charger 2 combines smart technology with an aesthetic design. The charging station is optimally geared toward future requirements.

- The charging station can be used as a standalone product
- 11 kW – Why? Very few private households have a higher connection capacity, so approximately 90% of all charging stations must be throttled down to 22 kW on-site because the grid cannot provide the full charging power. In addition, the most common new electric cars are equipped with an 11 kW charger. Depending on local regulations, there may be a reporting requirement if a charging station exceeds 11 kW.

- COMING SOON: With the RS485 connection, users remain independent of their home network, which provides additional security. The SMARTFOX Pro Energy Manager is thus connected directly to the charging station. If the Wi-Fi router is replaced, the functionality of the EV charging station remains unaffected.
- Free Monitoring – The SMARTFOX Pro Energy Manager lets you control and monitor your charging station or PV system even when you’re on the go. If you’d rather not use the app, the charging station can also be operated manually using a handheld controller (sold separately).

To provide all electric vehicle drivers and businesses with a convenient way to manage their charging stations, our e-mobility platform is available on our My SMARTFOX portal. This feature allows users to record data such as charging duration and charging costs, and to analyze it quickly and easily. This information is summarized in a clear charging report. The platform is a valuable tool for users to make the most of their charging infrastructure and keep track of their energy costs. A key advantage is that the RFID feature—which is also integrated into the SMARTFOX Pro Charger and Pro Charger 2—further simplifies automated analysis via the RFID tag. This integration, which allows authorized users to verify their identity quickly and effortlessly, makes the charging process safer and, above all, more user-friendly. The platform generates personalized reports on the charging sessions of individual RFID tags. For those who have a SMARTFOX Pro Charger without the RFID function, it can be retrofitted with our RFID keypad.
